Legal Action by States Can Move Forward Against Trump’s Restrictive Executive Order on Elections, Says Federal District Judge

President Donald Trump’s March 25th executive order on elections, attempting to override the U.S. Constitution’s grant of election authority to states and Congress, has so far been blocked by four of five lawsuits filed against it. A ruling in one of those cases on September 17th allows a challenge from 19 states to move forward.

As Trump Proposes Baseless Ban of Voting Machines, Newsmax Settles Defamation Suit with Dominion Voting Systems

As we’ve reported, President Donald Trump said August 18th he would end the use of voting machines in the U.S., claiming without evidence they contributed to widespread election fraud. The same day, conservative media company Newsmax settled a defamation lawsuit for $67 million dollars with Dominion Voting Systems for airing similar conspiracy theories.
