ADM for March 28, 2022: Georgia Legislature Piles on New Voting Rules with HB 1464

In the wake of Georgia's legislation last year adding layers of voter ID rules for mail ballots, limiting ballot drop boxes, and shortening the time in which to return those ballots, a bill passed last Tuesday in the Georgia House of Representatives piles on yet more restrictions.

ADM for March 21, 2022: NH Gov. Sununu Threatens Veto of Congressional Voting Maps

Partial good news on the badly gerrymandered Congressional districts in NH. The full NH Senate passed SB 52 last Thursday, but Governor Sununu issued a statement after the vote and signaled he would veto the bill when it reached his desk.

After months of promising an open and fair process, the NH Senate Election Law Committee voted last Monday to recommend two rigged voting districts for U.S. Congress and NH Executive Council to the full Senate. The NH Senate will vote on the gerrymandered maps on Thursday, March 17.
